Arrange your widgets to match your trading workflow. Split your screen to monitor multiple markets, group related widgets as tabs, or resize panels to focus on what matters most.
Think of each widget as a browser tab - you can drag, split, group, and rearrange them the same way.
Drag and Drop Basics
All layout changes start the same way: drag a widget tab. As you hover over another widget, drop zones automatically highlight showing where you can place it.
Drop zones on sides → Split view
Move toward the top, right, bottom, or left side to split your screen in that direction. Perfect for monitoring multiple markets side-by-side.
- Left/Right - Vertical split (widgets side by side)
- Top/Bottom - Horizontal split (widgets stacked)
Drop zone on tab bar → Group as tabs
Move toward the tab bar (header area) to group widgets in the same space. Switch between them like browser tabs. Saves screen real estate when you don’t need to see everything at once.
Reorder tabs: Drag tabs left/right within the same tab bar to rearrange.
Copying Widgets
Hold Ctrl (Windows/Linux) or Cmd (Mac) while dragging to create a complete duplicate - with all settings and markets copied.
How: Hold Ctrl → Drag widget tab → Drop anywhere
Why copy:
- Build complex layouts without reconfiguring each widget from scratch
- Compare different chart timeframes or aggregation levels side-by-side
- Experiment with settings on a copy while keeping your original intact
Resizing
Basic Resize
Hover over the border between panels until cursor changes to resize arrows ( ↔ or ↕).
Click and drag to resize:
- Drag left/right for vertical borders
- Drag up/down for horizontal borders
- Grab the corner where borders meet to resize both directions simultaneously
The adjacent panels automatically adjust to fill the space.
Symmetric Resize
Hold Alt while dragging a border to resize both panels equally.
How: Hover on border → Hold Alt → Drag
Result: Both panels adjust symmetrically instead of one growing while the other shrinks.
Tips
Start simple, then expand:
- Add one widget
- Ctrl+drag to duplicate it
- Split or group as tabs
- Resize to perfect proportions
